Core Team

We are a group of high school students from across the country. United by our passion for astronomy and our belief in accessible science, our goal is to give everyone hands-on access to the cosmos. Our team combines diverse talents in technology, education, and science communication to deliver a free, state-of-the-art, remotely controlled telescope experience to users worldwide.

Ben Zhou

As the founder, Ben drives our mission to make astronomy accessible worldwide.

Jay Wei

As Co-Founder, Jay manages team coordination and guides Astrolink’s organizational direction, ensuring consistent progress and alignment with its mission.

Jay is a junior at Phillips Academy and in his free time enjoys hiking, listening to music, and trying out new cuisines.

Nathan Wu

Nathan leads our curriculum design, crafting engaging astronomy lessons for users.

Caleb Beroukhim

Caleb directs our outreach efforts, connecting AstroLink with schools and communities.

Teo Choi

As Assistant Outreach Coordinator, Teo is committed to connecting Astrolink to as many people as possible.

Teo is a junior at Phillips Academy and in his free time, Teo enjoys playing baseball and being better than Jay at swimming.

Hewitt Hu

As the Pacific Northwest Coordinator, Hewitt is committed to help make the inclusion of telescope access in the Pacific Northwest thrive.

Hewitt is a senior and Jesuit High School and in his free time enjoys swimming and playing the piano
